School Counseling

Regina Brown is a seasoned educator, counselor, and life coach with an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Recently retired as an Intervention Counselor for Hanover County, she specialized in substance prevention and fostering resilience in at-risk students through targeted counseling and support groups.

Her career is marked by significant leadership, having served as the District Director of School Counseling for both Petersburg City and Henrico County Public Schools. In these roles, Regina supervised upwards of 150 counselors and spearheaded initiatives focused on social-emotional learning, trauma-informed care, and academic achievement. Her ability to secure grants and build community partnerships ensured that student support extended well beyond the classroom.

Beyond her formal career, Regina remains deeply involved in professional affiliations and community service. As a dedicated advocate for holistic well-being, she continues to use her rich background in education and engagement to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and grace.
